Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician Job Description:
The main functions of this position are to maintain the equipment and operation systems in the facility. To repair, rebuild or replace broken and worn out parts.
Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
- Starts up, operates, and shuts down equipment in line with Company safety procedures for equipment under power.
- Uses typical operator’s hand tools and volt meters.
- Perform repairs on equipment; replace ballasts, light fixtures, bulbs, etc.
- Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using common hand tools and power tools, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic devices to reassemble equipment.
- Estimate repair cost.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
- Checks the oil level daily on equipment along with other required safety measures.
- Perform routine Preventative Maintenance as required
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- 2-5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controlled equipment.
- Ability to work with 120, 208 and 240 volts on machinery, motors, light and other electrical equipment.
- Comfortable in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
- Ability to read and follow equipment manufacture’s manuals.
- Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Ability to spot problems or potential problems and take initiative to correct them.
- Ability to work rotating shifts with 10+ hour’s overtime per week.
- Completion of in-Company on the job training program to the satisfaction of the Manufacturing manager and Operations manager.
- Works with power driven equipment: frequent stooping, bending, and lifting (up to 50 to 75 lbs. continuously during an eight-hour shift). Continuous reaching, standing and grasping ability for the entire shift.
- Close attention and care is required to prevent damage to tools and machines. High mental and visual effort required.
- Able to operate a manual engine lathe, mill, welder, etc.
- The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions and orientation to the job.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good report writing skills.

Transmission Builder
Transmission Builder Job Description:
Full-time position with Core Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday, overtime and work on weekend when necessary. Transmission Builder is responsible for building high performance transmissions in accordance with OEM and/or TCI® standards. Specifically, he will build race/street performance/heavy-duty transmissions and related components.
Transmission Builder Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build transmissions and related components on various types of transmissions
- Interprets work orders to build transmissions with both standard and special specifications
- Perform work as outlined on work order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
- Expedite parts for daily assembly; order parts necessary for production and maintain paperwork on all production daily
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production
- Document work performed
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all company-owned tools at all times
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
Transmission Builder Qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Extreme attention to detail
- GM experience and ASE certification is a plus
- Manual dexterity
- Good judgment and no nonsense work attitude

Product Support Specialist
Product Support Specialist Job Summary:
Assist Product Manager in all phases of new product development from concept through finished product.
Product Support Specialist Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Product Mgr with evaluation of potential new products through sourcing, cost of material analysis and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with Purchasing Department to coordinate materials sourcing and cost pricing with outside vendors.
- Assist Product Manager and Creative Services Department in the creation of packaging concepts and advertising copy promoting product features.
- Partner with R&D to create clear, concise, accurate and user-friendly instruction sheets.
- Coordinate all functional department participation in manufacturing and packaging of first production run of new products including development of routers, BOM’s, etc.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Marketing Departments to update and enhance current products.
- Compile and update product catalogs.
- Investigate and drive resolution of issues involving product performance, quality, installation and manufacturing.
- Monitor Tech Services for product issue trends resulting from customer initiated contact.
- Participate in consumer and race events.
Product Support Specialist Requirements/Skills:
- Minimum one year related experience in automotive aftermarket, high performance industry.
- Associates degree, business, marketing or equivalent with strong mechanical/automotive background and skills, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communications, customer relations/diplomacy, problem solving, and phone/internet skills.
- PC/software experience and proficiency, MS Office.
- Ability to write routine reports including application of spreadsheet analysis
- Strong attention to detail, good mathematical aptitude.
Product Manager
Product Manager Job Summary:
Overall management responsibility for product line. This includes managing the delivery of new product development projects on time, within budget and per customer expectations. Additionally, will be responsible for providing accurate project status reports to include financials, driving the use of product design cycle through the business unit, and coordinating large projects with other product managers.
Product Manager Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage existing product and develop new products/functionality based on industry experience, research and discussion with customers and prospects; negotiate design trade-offs with Engineering and Manufacturing in the development of product specifications.
- Develop marketing specifications for new products and maintain its accuracy during development as necessary to capture design changes and trade-offs.
- Work with Engineering to define product and release requirements; assure products are developed within budget and meet functional and unit cost specifications. Escalate/communicate significant deviations to management.
- Definite, develop and implement a go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits and target customers working with all relevant departments to execute.
- Prepare business cases and obtain Management approval for product development proposals.
- Coordinate, drive and manage product launch process, ensure that supporting departments are scheduled to delivery on time (i.e., product literature, service documentation, price lists, installation instructions, packaging, forecast, routers, etc)
- Assess customer and sales input/feedback to identify product enhancements to extend/maximize product life and profitability.
- Execute implementation of custom configurations when business opportunity and potential is determined to be appropriate.
- Support large sales opportunities, communicate with sales to provide necessary support for demos, pricing, technical information, etc.
- Work closely with Marketing Services to ensure products are properly positioned and supported with sales tools, competitive tools, programs, promotion and lead generation activities, and accurate sales collateral (through all market channels).
- Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects progress including cost analysis, research findings, engineering, design, through purchasing and product launch.
- Develop and manage new programs, products, catalogs and advertising copy in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Services.
- Troubleshoot problem areas involving interaction with sales representatives, customer accounts and internal departments.
- Identify, assess and correct product defects. Prioritize against other sustaining engineering activities.
- Achieves targeted profit/loss ratio performance for assigned product lines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Experience in product management preferably dealing with high performance automotive or related product lines.
- Proven ability lead a team from definition through product delivery.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record in turning around, maintaining or increasing product margins/market share.
Educational Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business.
